Just a warning. the member known as welung666 is currently under investigation and has been charged and bailed pending court proceedings for the following: http://www.halesowennews.co.uk/news/9349200.Old_Hill_man_in_court_on_child_porn_charges/

I will leave this to the personal decision of whoever is reading it however, if you have children and are asking this man to come to your home to repair your car, you need to be aware of this.

I think the OP was being thanked for bringing something to the forums attention.

As to the truth of the matter, thats perhaps something that a Court may decide at some future time?  Meantime, the OP refers to two seperate local newspaper articles and presumably, they checked the assorted sources of the information.

At this stage, I will advise all and sundry that OOF is a car forum and not somewhere for a witch hunt or to hang anyone out to dry.

The law of the land is such that people are innocent until proven guilty.  Meantime, bail conditions apply and as part of that, there are specific contact details with minors, or so it appears as per the news report.  That is standard in such cases.

Given that there is a possibility of contact with minors via OOF it is felt that the post should stand. 

But will be heavily moderated.....

Yes innocent until proven guilty but there are two links provided ignore at your own peril.. the alarming man, would you invite this person innocent until proven guilty, to come and fix your car and nip into the house leaving your kids outside with this person knowing what you now know. Yes, innocent until proven guilty indeed but a better saying is better safe than sorry.

I totally agree with that statement above, however, this isn't an accusation, this is a 'heads up' and although I've never had any contact with Welung, this is a much appreciated warning.
