Glad it helped!  Don't forget that clubcard points give you 1p/£ back, though....

The worst thing is that the price of a barrel of oil has just dropped by the largest single margin in a day since 1991 ($5).

But you won't see a change on forecourts for a few weeks yet, and even then the price of oil would have to stay at $104 for the retailers to be pressured into dropping pump prices.  :(

Don't you just the "time lag"...oil goes up and petrol follows immediately. Oil drops and it takes a fortnight for them to "empty thier reserves"...yeah, right!

£70 quid a week at the moment, just backwards and forwards to work, 360 miles. Everyone tells me I should get another car. I can't bring myself to do it.

The ever increasing price of petrol reminds me of when beer was under £1 a pint the price hovered for ages but when it passed the £ mark the price shot up same as petrol is doing now its past £1 per ltr >:(

I'm about to start a new job in Welwyn which, until I find a place to live in Hertford is going to mean a 180 mile round trip commute every day. So I'm going to be getting through three tanks of LPG per week  :'(
