Seat heater not working
« on: 30 January 2011, 16:28:28 »

Since we bought the car, the heater for the driver's seat has never worked at all. Passenger's no problem. Tried obvious stuff to no avail, fuses etc. Leather seat. This time of year improved with sheepskin cover  :y

Any ideas?

As Boditza says but, remove the seat & have a look. You might be lucky in the the burnt section appears obvious. I cut out a very small section of burnt element & re-soldered the wires, and so far 5 or 6 yrs later mine still works. I did the same for the Senator before it.
Have a look, it doesn't cost anything and if you can't fix it you have just wasted a little of your time.  :y :y

they're heavy though  :-?
