Headlamp levelling sensors
« on: 12 December 2007, 18:55:32 »

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Does anyone know where I can get both front and rear sensors (new) other than going to Vaux?

Thanks

I haven't seen them for sale anywhere else but they are made by Hella. They have a website which details the sensor part...

http://www.hella.com/toc/en/5hxjKWC272XiMnf0A6wq_Y5522.srv?

This is the sensor module only and does not include the cams required.

Can't seem to fix the link, soz.

Part number and description is... 6NM 007 282-641  Control, headlight aiming

Running this through Google identifies only one reseller - based in Germany. Price is 57 Euro.

Reseller web page is http://217.91.116.188/product_info.php?cPath=100010_100143_100279&products_id=2_6NM%20007%20282-641&lfdnr_id=174&language=en

Ahh yes thanks Dave  :y but that is the part that fits into the back of the headlamp, I am looking for the actual sensors which sit on the n/s front and rear suspension and control the motors which you have found, Cheers

Why not get a couple from a scrapper or from one of the number on here that are being broken for spares?  Save you quite a few quid...

Fair enough....   :y

Being a tight git, I would be risking a couple of quid on a scrapper replacement first....

It doesn't look like the levelling 'swtich' either. The 'switches' from Vauxahll are around £50 each! :o
