hi, this might seem like a stupid question to some but having just purchased 53 plate elite estate with a ncdc 2013 sat nav unit, the display says insert navigation cd, does this disc inset into the 2013 unit or is there a unit hidden elsewhere for the sat nav disc, any replies will be appreciated, thanks

not got one...

if theres a slot at the top, then the changer lower down....it goes in the top slot.

if it is, and is a genuine disk, sounds like the laser is knackered - often caused by using copied disks instead of originals.

if its the laser - have a look through the ice section, somewhere, not that long ago is a source of replacement laser units, which I beleive is not too bad a job to replace.

there was no disc with the car, have ordered a genuine vauxhall one so cant check the operation untill it arrives, thanks
