A torque wrench/bar.

Most motor factors or even Halfords sell them.

Those Halfords ones are pretty good IMO. Calibrated to within 1% as well.

well worth spending a little extra on one of those as opposed to something cheaper, (and not as accurate).

That's  right I've had 2 Norbars for years 1 ranged from 30 to150nm and 1 from 8 to 54nm also have a Franklin 43 to 348nm mostly for suspension and wheelbearings

You dont use a torque wrench to tighten a wheel, you need a wheelbrace, or one of those extending bars :y

but if you want to tighten it to a specific torque (110 ftlb?) how are you going to do that with an extending wheel brace?  ;) ;) ;)

You might not use a torque wrench, but it is good practice to use one and I always do.  If I see a tyre depot not using a torque wrench they get crossed off my list of places to use.

Elite now gone.  Bought an X-Type 4x4.  If there had been an Omega 4x4 I would have bought that instead.  We really liked the Omega, but I wanted 4x4.

As long as you don't extend the brace when you tighten.  :y :y
