Exhaust died?
« on: 04 January 2011, 19:16:43 »

Evening OOF'ers

Today after going into town, I noticed what seemed to be "hair" hanging out of my tailpipe. Thought nothing of it, pulled it out and drove home. Back home, I noticed even more of this "hair" is coming out.
Is this the internals of my rear box or something more sinister?  :-/

Thanks for any advice!

New exhaust it is then.

Is it worth getting a used one off the forum, or stick to a new one?  :-?

Take care when driving it when the box is deteriorating as it can suffocate the exhaust and either a) stall the engine or b) have a mahoosive bang as the back box explodes and spews its hairy puddens all over......  ;D

I rang powerflow today and they will supply and fit a rear box for £90 all in.
Lifetime guarentee too... seems like a good offer.

Any thoughts?     :-?
