AFAIK it doesn't matter what speed you drive at.. the tyres must be suitable for the speeds the car can do ... so the makers specifications must be fitted or the insurers can refuse payouts in the event of an incident ...

The information on those pages implies that a V rated tyre .. 150 Mph is suitable as the top speed is less

if you have been driving around with 225/65/16's rather than the stock size of 225/55/16 then your speedo is 6.9% TOO SLOW i.e. at a reading of 60mph on your speedo you are actualy doing 64.1mph :exclamation.

Personaly i have 225/50/16's on mine for reduced tyre wall roll and that fact that the speedo over reads by 3.4% so at 60 i'm really only doing 57.9mph (kinder on my licence )

 50 profile tyres are marginaly cheaper as well because 225/55/16 is quite an uncommon size.

guess that 225/65/16's are cheaper still

              I must apologise to Nickbat, you're quite right H/elite it makes his speedo under(going faster than speedo shows) not over as i put the wrong tyre in the calculator 1st .

i had these boots a while back and would never touch them again they aqua plain like mad they are terrible boots in my honest experience
