Do you have to remove the 'wood' trim to get the climate panel out?

One pic shows trim and climate panel fitted.........next pic shows em both removed  :-/

if i remember rightly the ECC panel is clipped/screwed to the wood trim from the back, you have to remove the trim and disconnect the two looms that go to the panel
