Hi guys just need a little bit of info my alternator has now started playing up typical as i was going to sell it, it charges fine at idle but then if you put lights on etc it just cuts out and then the battery gets drained.
Is there a quick fix if not where is the cheapest place to get an alternator from?
Also will one form a 2.5 v6 be the same as one from a 3.0 v6?

Check Maint Guides section, seem to recall MDTM did a guide on refurbishing them

Cheers for that i'll have ago not sure thou as mine doing strange things might still have to just change it, if i do will the 2.5 v6 one be the same?

Yes, though you can get different ratings, so make sure its same rqating...
