Cill Rubber Removal
« on: 16 June 2007, 22:06:20 »

Please can someone let me know how to remove the cill rubber on a facelift Omega. I have to repair some rust that has appeared right on the egde between the kick plate and the rubber by the drivers door and I need to remove the rubber to deal with it properly.

You could try heating it gently with a hair dryer and easing it off.

That is, if it is glued on.

What a good idea. I would never have thought of that and would have ended up with shredded rubber :y :y
