Thanks for the "welcome"
« on: 12 June 2008, 21:03:27 »

I am member of several other car forums, none of which require you to post 50 times before advertising a car. Maybe I should have added a smiley after my posts like the rest of you geeks and then my posts wouldnt have been deleted  ;)

Each forum has its own rules regarding what you can and can't do.  In our case, we do not want to simply become a free advertising service - we provide this forum for Omega enthusiasts, not as a freebie Thames Valley Trader etc.  We provide the ability for established members to sell their cars.

Purely bumping threads to simply get your postcount to the required level breaches our Guidelines - a copy of which is posted at the top of each board.

I am sorry if you don't like or agree with our rules, but they are implemented for a reason, sadly.

Take your teddy and go back to the playground ... :)

IF you read the rules and obeyed them then folks would endeavor to help you all they could .. but making demands that the forum change its rules just for you on day 1 is never going to happen ... :)

I and several other "geeks" tried to welcome you, Spud. But you seem bent on self-destruction. I would suggest you return to the other forums to which you belong -- you are obviously happier there!
