Replacement Keys
« on: 01 August 2007, 20:05:49 »

I have friend that's just bought an X regf Vectra SRI but it only has 1 key :(

It seems cheaper to buy this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-VECTRA-OMEGA-ECOTEC-ECU-2-KEYS_W0QQitemZ280139474276QQihZ018QQcategoryZ10404QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem than get an new key, blade, and recode via Tech2.

I can have the Tech2 done for a tenner and a new Vx key is £30 btw.

Pitfalls????

No remotes ;)

If you can get cheap tech2 work, buy a blank key with transponder from ebay, and 2nd hand remote from ebay (must match the existing one, make, model, and technology) and get programmed.
