Spent a lot of yesterday putting new front top suspension mounts and a new steering rack on granddaughters partners  MkIV Golf while he was out at work. Hopefully it will go through today's M.o.T when he takes it in.

Decided I really should pull my finger out and fill it with electricity.  It took around 8hrs at 4A, so was probably a third flat.

Made the oil light on the Bini illuminate whilst negotiating a roundabout... Took a litre and a half to register mid you the car does think it's 16,500 miles overdue, and I have done nothing to it yet to make me doubt it 

Now I have had it about six months I should probably service it so duly ordered... £35 for all Bosch filters and another £29 for Mercedes' finest 5W30.

The Golf I worked on yesterday went straight through M.o.T.

 Finally got a socket that fitted on the oil pressure sender of the Monaro. Bastid thing to change
Had to be quite a thin walled one to fit in past all sorts of pipes and bolts
Now regerstering pressure so ready for some V8 sound track around the roads at the weekend
