Battery charger installed. Fly lead hard wired as per Merc instructions for charging the consumer battery.

Only gripe is the length of the cables... The connection to the charger is relatively short so have had to place the charger in front of the radiator, bonnet still latches, and the mains plug is just inside the garage door.

Seems to be charging ok, and the car isn't complaining so that's something. Can just about see the display through the grill.

I believe your elderly scouse uncle pays a couple of illegals to wash his car.

Keeps the costs down. ::)

£10 for a swarthy southern European to rub a wet chamois all over my car. Hardly cheap.

Went out to change a tail / stop bulb on the roller skate, but much to  my surprise I have run out of double filament bulbs.
Then tried to find out why the interior light, vanity lights and puddle lights arent working on the Boxster. Didnt find anything obvious.
Gave up at that point and took the Tortoise for a walk around the garden, so at least that used up an hour of my time, while swmbo was watching a couple of blokes on telly, playing a game of bat & ball. ::)  ;D

Wifeys grandland had its first MOT yesterday. Out of warranty, so phoned Vx for a quote. £187 for 12 months for the top one( gold or whatever). Not bad. Oh...£200 excess, still not bad.
