Didnt bother Steve. Took the Tortoise for a walk in the sunshine instead.  :y ;D
It was a bit of a rush to keep up, but I managed it.  :D

Completed Astra J front break service, only disassembling, cleaning, lubrication and new pin rubbers. Then changed right side wishbone as it had several millimeters axial clearance and it  was noisy. Now I can hear something from the left side. Perhaps have to change that side too, although no clearance found. I was lazy as the lower bolt is difficult to achieve when working in floor level.

During lunch, NSF disc and pads.  Caught it just as the sensor touched the disc, so the sensor remains usable.  I'm a tight arse like that!

Retrieved, a forest out of various bits of the beaten up undertray, and think I can see the cause of the post drowning rattle noise.

After work, OSF disc and pads, and diagnosed a faulty pump for the headlight washers whilst the wheel was off.

Sadly, I've had to order a pump, so will have to take it apart again in a few days.

Driven the Toyota over to Sandringham for my mates birthday lunch 72 mpg & we weren't hanging about, got to say that we witnessed one of the worst displays of dangerous driving on our journey home.

Looking forward to pics or vids of the finished job, running. You should be proud of the way you've stuck at it, despite your numerous setbacks. It's no mean feat  :-*

I considered washing one (or even two of mine) again today, but decided to review things tomorrow. ;D
