Not worth it on those yellow headlights, try and get yourself a pair of projector headlights and some nightbreaker bulbs ;) :y

Projector ones with standard bulbs in are crap. If you're going to bother upgrading at all, go for the proper vauxhall HID xenon originals. More expensive and more work as you have to fit the self leveling device which works off the front suspension wishbone, but will totally transform the night time vision, and looks cool of course 8-)

I bought new projector lights off ebay, they are the aftermarket quality Depo make I think. I fitted 100w dipped beam lamps(bulbs) and the difference is amazing.
I cannot compare to HID as never had a car with them, but considering all the suspension sensors etc I can't see it is worth it.
As for second hand projectors, I would not bother as the outer bit has allready had many years of use and will probably be finely scratched and will effect light output.

I did make a mistake at first buying blue bulbs, they are strange, changed them within a week.

PS This is the type of thing I bought, You may be able to better cheaper elsewhere http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-OMEGA-CLEAR-HEADLAMP-HEADLIGHT-1997-99_W0QQitemZ260405237622QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item260405237622&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A10%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
