There are a couple of mobile valeters around here that seem to be doing OK. Trouble is they are getting competition now from car park operations in local supermarkets .... do the shopping while the car is being cleaned !

Do a good job and for the right price and the word will soon get round.

Where abouts are you.  I have 2 that need the works.

My mate started one up a few months back & he's doing very well. He gets very busy & sometimes doesn't have any dinner because they back up right around the corner. The Police have been out a few times & moved them all on ;D ;D

It's the old "Where there's muck, there's money" --- even in today's climate thhere are many that don't want to get their hands dirty --- or are simply too busy earning the wage.

A chap use to come in to our work every Thursday and was always busy, he had a Merc Sprinter and cleaned the outside and inside of the vans at work. Good luck, if you do a good job the word spreads quick :y

Good luck if it all goes to plan.  :y
As other have said, good service soon spreads by word of mouth. A bloke goes to where my wife works, the more who get a valet at the depot, the cheaper it gets.

If i did go ahead with this do you think the best way is to print of loads of leafets on the pc and then put put them on peoples car windscreens

Leafletting generally doesn't work that well.

In my experience, your success rate is less than 0.25% if not targetted.

Good luck with it.

I used to work in an office where a mobile valeting team came once per month. Just gave them car keys and they returned them when done. I reckon it was a good earner.

Perhaps target local firms with big car parks rather than leaflet the individuals.
