Last night i took my Miggy up to my old work and stuck it over the pit..
I did look under it before i bought it but as you know thats not great,so......
Ive got a groaning/creaking noise from the back right somewhere and decided to investigate.....never found what it was yet but, was pleasantly surprised what i found underneath....
New rear Monroe shocks
New rear springs
New front to rear GM fuel lines
New exhaust from downpipe back
All parts of the car are bone dry,not so much as a weep or even a sweat from anything.....
Bottom of engine,gearbox,diff,brake lines....nothing!
Had a poke around with a lever,all ball joints,wishbones,idler etc
Anything with moveable parts are all tip top......
Jacked him up and checked each wheel,no play top or bottom on any...
3 tyres have the coloured lines still there and one you can just see the lines and no more
This Miggy is even better than i first thought,and im delighted with it...
My only slight downside was...
If i was being fussy the exhaust downpipe has seen better days and i think i would like to change the front discs.......there pretty rusty around the edge and very slight grooves are begining to appear....
I sold my Jeep recently so i have a bit of cash to spare and decided to get these things done while i have the money.......
Priced them today, exhaust :- £115+vat and the discs and pads are coming in at around £45 so i might as well do them.............
Problem now is i got some cash burning a hole in my pocket.......
What can i buy for the car??
(Was kind of thinking about Elite wheels........and a MV6 bumper )
