Its clear that Putin wants all of Ukraine, it gives him the complete land mass between Belarus, Crimea, Russia and Moldova (where he is also currently having a bit of a hidden war in the western area).

Most  yanks never leave the state they live in, let alone the country. Most have no idea where Ukraine is and care about it even less. They would rather the multi billion dollars that go to Ukraine be spent helping people in America.

Europe can't simply expect American military might to come to the rescue every time their is a war thousands of miles away.
