Well they are probably struggling to find a suitable disabled lesbian (with a dick) of an appropriate colour that wants to be trained to use a grease gun, which is why the propeller shafts keep seizing up.

That explains why it took so long to build the bleddy things... Retrofitting accessibility equipment must have meant a total redesign.

That explains why it took so long to build the bleddy things... Retrofitting accessibility equipment must have meant a total redesign.

Ironically that's exactly what happened. They were originally designed with a catapult to fling jets off the bows and a wire to catch them when landing, but then some bright spark at the MOD decided to scrap that to save money, so they ended up having more expensive, less capable aircraft instead.  The ships are less capable as well, as only STOVL aircraft can land on them due to the lack of catapult and arrester system.
