Realistically it's a ways off, but at some point burning and looting has to be stopped as all it does is decimate communities and small business.

Racing certainty Kevin. Maybe brought in under the guise of a national health implanted chip or Smart watch. Something sending health data to base and you get called in if something out of normal parameters is detected. Most people already have an Id card in the form of a driving licence. In Spain we have Id cards which you are bound to carry with you at all times in public. Personally I haven’t an issue with them.  They are useful for ordering stuff to be delivered eg building materials. Give your address and your unique card number. Gives the company some redress if you later don’t pay. ( I still find it a bit heathen having to pay for your food and drink here before you get it or consume it)

Plenty of cameras everywhere. Very very noticeable compared to say Spain which has quite strict rules on what and who can be recorded. Cameras on roads and if needed data from modern cars is already a tracking reality. Facial recognition. Isn’t that already being used to Id football hooligans.

No doubt egged on by the evil bastard Blair. 

However... My phone is only about 4 years old and already several apps don't work anymore because my version of Android is too old.  Even the Lidl app FFS! 

So how do they impose something like that on us which surely would require up to date software on peoples phones?
