There was definately something very peculiar occurred last night .
The complete absence of " far right " demonstrators but the en masse appearance on a Wednesday night of the " everybody's welcome ,we love you " brigade stretches credulity .
It's difficult not to occassionaly ponder if dark forces are pulling strings ......
Meanwhile , whilst our eyes are on these events the back door is still open and they are still piling in unnoticed.

So it seems that when the state is threatened they can deliver justice swiftly and TwoTierKeir seems to have taken a leaf out of the Yanks J6 playbook when it comes to handing down draconian sentences. 

Although, I've not seen any convictions and sentences handed down so far, for carrying an offensive weapon, but then many of those types were allowed to 'self police' or were advised by police to leave their weapons in their place of worship so they wouldn't have to arrest them.     I even saw pictures of an elderly gent with a big bushy white beard dressed in white robes with a sodding great curved sword!   

Meanwhile if you are a victim of rape, sexual abuse, violence, robbery etc you have to wait months/years for justice and then see your assailant let off with a slap on the wrist!

Has anyone got any constructive suggestions on how these matters can be resolved? No?
We appear to be in a minority, so console yourselves with the fact that the majority are idiots who can't see what's coming and, when they do, it will be too late for them.

Great Britain ain't so great any more and the United Kingdom is definitely not united. It was ok while it lasted. Will the last one out turn off the lights.

Regardless, smashing everything up and using it as a loose excuse for anarchy serves absolutely no useful purpose.

Civil order needs to be maintained and people who are unable to abide by the law of the land need to be held accountable swiftly and proportionately, regardless of where they are from or how they came to be here.

Being white or otherwise and born here doesn't exempt anyone from those laws.

The thing that pisses me off is that my taxes are expected to pay to support stupid lazy arseholes with nothing better to do than burn down libraries and Greggs.

Bringing back the death penalty and removing ourselves from the ECHR would go along way to incentivising civil obedience.

Why not go the whole hog and introduce facial recognition cameras on every street corner a la Chinese and add death rays to save prison spaces and the police/ courts time.?

On the subject of prisons, I thought they were full? Where did the 500 spaces magic up from? Was it as simple as earlier early release for some lucky incarcerates?

I haven’t been following any serious TV debates but has the subject been given a fair, post start of riots, airing or does that not fit the governments direction to the media.? I am appalled at the truly sloppy and sensationalist reporting that I have seen on British TV.

Agree with that apart from I dont believe we are in the minority. We are the quiet majority and far too compliant for our own good.
We just  rely on Democracy, whichin reality,  barely exists any more.
But is there a solution ? Probably not.

Last first, state media does what state media always does.

To the first, I meant swift processing and accountability for crimes such as stabbing three kids for no apparent reason beyond being able to. Or gang raping white girls because a particular sector of society thinks it's ok.
