Are your survivors sagging?

If so it might be an idea to put a strip of tape across the contact in the clip. Doesn't have to cover the whole contact, just the first half.of the range of movement so that it has to definitely be down before the lights come on.

Are you suggesting it's the angle of the visor that switches on the lights? I'd assumed that the switch was operated when the plastic cover was opened. As mentioned previously I've just removed the bulbs for now as that is guaranteed to solve it  :y

The contact is in the inboard sunvisor clip.

The switch is in the cover... There's a cam on the back edge of it iirc.
