Not seen a guide but they just pull up don’t they.

The note below is from a previous thread on here :
Lift the base of the gear surround and pull up (so that the gaiter ends up inside out) there is a rubber o ring at the bottom of the gear knob, roll it down/off the surround and then pull surround off over the gear knob.  :y

The handbrake gaiter just pulls up doesn’t it.

Still attached to its plastic frame obviously.  :y

You will need a sharp blade(scalpel or single edge razor blade) and some impact adhesive.

The new gaiters usually come with a cable tie to close the ends, which is both bulky and ugly - replace it with a cord or some thin wire.

The new gaiters will need a little trimming to conform to the plastic surrounds before you stick them together.

It's a simple job that won't take an hour to do.

it was not so hard, but i think the plastic "frame" around it, was not designed to change the gaiter anytime. Its a little rustic, but tomorrow will be the test, if it stays in place, then it will be okay. if not, i will have to use more glue  :D

That's much better :y

I was pleasantly surprised by the improvement to cost/effort ratio when I did mine.
