I got home today after 7 weeks roaming around SE Asia, and fully expected the cars battery to be flat as I'd forgotten to disconnect it.

Turned out it was OK, it was a bit slow but still started first time.

Excellent I can go to the supermarket later thought I....

I then stupidly left the doors open, to air the car out as it was musty inside from condensation and it was a nice breezy day. The interior lights must have drained what was left in the battery.... So I ended up pulling the battery out to charge it after all.

In other news, something tripped my electricity out at some point and I came back to a freezer full of stinking rotten food, and a mouse has got in and munched its way through packets of crisps, nuts, chocolate etc in my cupboard.

Hope the two aren't connected...

I've spent the afternoon cleaning up mouse shit and disinfecting my kitchen. The freezer I just turned back on to freeze the rotten shit in there and I'll deal with that tomorrow.

Right got to walk to the supermarket now, as all I have in the house is a packet of biscuits that the mouse missed. Sigh... Welcome home.
