I buggered my back again, mostly likely from one of the Chiltern trips last week - I often suffer afterwards, but normally back to normal in a day or 2.  This time, it's giving me grief for much longer :(.  Is that a sign of age?

Nah, it's been smarting since last week....

Plus we didn't change them, it took most of the day to just remove them, LOL.

The BBC. Again.

Describing one of the Nazi concentration camps as 'the place where over 1 million men, women and children were killed'

I think you'll find, you opposing retards, that they were murdered in an act of genocide.

Reading a report about a child rape gang in Scotland who have been sentenced today, what on earth goes on in the heads of these men & women and they weren't Muslims.

Amazon :-X

Got my account suspended for buying the same item twice but separately.  I see the problem looked like a fraud and respect the security that kicked in. I don't like the fact that no text or email to me to let me know.

Bought 2 gift cards Friday, 1st via email, order placed, verification done, code received with 3 hours.

2nd order said 5 min del, proceeded and waited and waited.  Gave in and the bullshit started once I contacted customer services.

Blame game started.  Rang the bank Monday Morning they said they passed the payment Amazon didn't pick it up.

Customer services said their security team will contact (email only) to ask for I.D. verification.

Evey thing is wait 24 hours with them

Took till today, and a decent service advisor to sort.

But all sorted now. :y

Over the worst of Manflu ( yes I know its miraculous) just before starting a run of nightshifts, so happy enough.
Stood up quickly from the sofa this morning and felt my back go. Been in "considerable discomfort" since.
FFS !  >:(
Its no fun getting old.  ;(

No, it's definitely no fun when bits hurt/stop working/drop off. You're only young old, wait till you get old old.

I may be young elderly but I had a bit of a head start when I mangled quite a few things in 1976.  ;D

You sound like swmbo. "Slow down, theres no need to rush everywhere all the time".  ;D
But there is though. Ever day that passes leaves me less time to do stuff.  ::)
So I do things quickly, for a short time, until the energy runs out because Im old, and then I get pissed off.  :D

I got home today after 7 weeks roaming around SE Asia, and fully expected the cars battery to be flat as I'd forgotten to disconnect it.  ::)

Turned out it was OK, it was a bit slow but still started first time.  :y  Excellent I can go to the supermarket later thought I....  ::)

I then stupidly left the doors open, to air the car out as it was musty inside from condensation and it was a nice breezy day.  The interior lights must have drained what was left in the battery.... So I ended up pulling the battery out to charge it after all.  :-X  >:(

In other news, something tripped my electricity out at some point and I came back to a freezer full of stinking rotten food, and a mouse has got in and munched its way through packets of crisps, nuts, chocolate etc in my cupboard.  >:(  Hope the two aren't connected...  :-\

I've spent the afternoon cleaning up mouse shit and disinfecting my kitchen.  The freezer I just turned back on to freeze the rotten shit in there and I'll deal with that tomorrow.  :-X

Right got to walk to the supermarket now, as all I have in the house is a packet of biscuits that the mouse missed.  Sigh... Welcome home.    ::)
