The main reason for my dislike of them stems from my time in the London Ambulance Service I saw one child fall from a tree into a greenhouse whilst trying to get a better view of fireworks, and another whose fingers were burnt down to the bone whilst trying to grab a sparkler from another child, needless to say they would have scars that remained with them for the rest of their lives.

Got home from shopping at Morrisons and went to load the fridge with the goods. Milk leaking out of the bottom of 4 pint bottle of milk in the fridge. Found receptacles for the milk. Cleaned up and put the new in fridge. Later went out and today’s milk container had the same problem.

Can you believe that the plastic is so thin it cannot cope with transfer from supermarket to home. Might take it all back and complain but time and effort……..

On the plus side I used the self checkout without needing assistance and they have made me area manager. I can deal with my own complaint!

Yeah, well .....it's going to be -7°C here tomorrow morning. That brings back memories of finding the milk on the doorstep with the tin foil top standing about an inch above the bottle with a column of frozen milk supporting it

I’d gathered that it wasn’t her intelligence that got her to where she is today.    I’m just amazed that she’s hanging in there. Mind you, I’m amazed that any of them are hanging in there.

Exactly right not many youngsters want to learn a trade now & they would rather work in a warm office staring at screen all day to grafting on a building site.
