Bloody Sciatica.  >:(

I've just discovered I've got this as my new left hip has become bloody achy and I've been struggling walk any distance. :(

Went to see my surgeon and had the hip X-rayed, and he cheerfully told me there nothing wrong with the hip, but I have sciatica.  ::)

Two steps forward, one step back. Sigh.  :-\
Hopefully it won't take long to go Tig.

Gatwick.
The French...

Fixed that for you... It's gradually going to shit now Vinci run it. Which is a shame because it used to be a decent little airport :'(
That might have explained the ground staff incompetence and the utter incompetence of whomever is supposed to open the corridors so that people can move off the airbridge.

Doesn't come close to explaining the utter mess that the border force self-abusers cause.

On the upside, the baggage handlers we good enough....   ....probably due to the 90+ minutes it took passengers to get to the bag belts from the aircraft.

Certainly no desire to ever fly from there again, they make Luton seem almost usable, and the Luton mob have to stop every 15 minutes for their call to prayer....
Which terminal/airline :-\

Although that sounds like a Sarf problem rather than Norf one. And sounds like Menzies or Don't Handle Luggage thing...

One side light on the caravan refusing to come  on all checked out but fault appears to be on the Range Rover electrics so into  our local auto electrician first thing tomorrow morning.

When you say ‘one’ sidelight, do you mean just one light or the entire side ie. all of the left or right lamps out. The reason I ask is that caravan lights are sided, from the tow socket to the fuse and then on to the lamps. So, if the left hand side fuse/wiring etc is faulty, it will take the entire left hand side out (stop lamps excluded as they are separate) and likewise for the right hand side.
A single lamp out usually signifies a blown bulb or poor connection, usually through furred up bulb to terminal connection. The bulb is easily tested with two bits of wire and 12V supply. The same can be done by touching the same bits of wire to ‘cleaner’ sections of the bulb terminal metal parts.
Are you running 13 Pin ISO tow socket or the earlier style 12N and 12S twin sockets. The principle is the same regardless. One lamp out equals problem local to that bulb. Whole side out equals either caravan fuse to that side, faulty/corroded/dirty tow socket plug or vehicle socket, hence why I ask if it’s just one lamp out.  :y
.

Vehicle socket faulty, was on the RR when I purchased it in 2019 , checked the service history & it was  originally fitted in 2012 so it's done well, £45 all done 👍

No idea who the ground crew were, but some jumped up little security idiot was getting very irate with the new crew waiting for passengers to disembark so they could take over.

And, no, it wasn't over the bridge :)

Don't Handle Logistics/Luggage/Limpio aka DHL ;)

Sounds like the new crew had used the wrong mode on the departure door as that then locks out the arrival corridor doors for passenger mode... Which sets off an alarm if the door is subsequently held open.

The shouty eejit then has to walk from wherever they're having coffee to fix it >:D

Just had a few days house sitting in Walton on the Naze.
Took a stroll on the beach near the pier when the tide was out at about 6pm this evening.
I picked up and binned several large handfuls of broken glass, which would be underwater tomorrow when kids were paddling and swimming there.
Mostly large  pieces of broken  beer bottles.
Wtf is wrong with the sort of cretins who do that ? >:( >:(

The same tvvats that break them on popular dog walking paths. My eldest's Staffie is still recovering from this and that was over a month ago.I believe that the paws are quite a protracted healing area?
