Enterprise self drive van on inside lane of A11 near Four went ways junction. He then pulled out in front of the SUV just in front of me, cutting him up as he did so. The SUV driver must have flashed him or gestured or something, as the van slowed down to 45mph and kept brake checking the SUV. This must have gone on for a couple of miles until the two HGV's in the inside lane undertook the van and hopefully shew him the error of his ways. That's the second arsehole van driver i've encountered this week.

Being afflicted with a dose of the shits......again. Had two day at the beginning of the when my toilet visits were down to five minute intervals. 
On the upside I haven't had to go out with the dog, the missus had to take him. So, why bother getting dressed? I stayed in bed all day watching telly and napping.

Respect Form. What the hell is that?!

Got discharge papers when dad was discharged from hospital recently. Should have been given a copy of his respect form apparently. Wasn't.
Went to GP for a copy. They didn't have it BUT will make enquiries and ring you. Couldn't ring a Spanish mobile. We rang back ---you will have to get it from the hospital.
Up to the hospital. Sorry consultant that provides this is on two weeks holiday back in 12 days. The original was shredded when it was put on the computer.
We still need it now. So consultant in adjacent ward came and printed off the bare bones only with crucially the CPR don't resuscitate with chest compressions ( he wouldn't survive them or be in a terrible state).

We have put my dad in a Care home for respite care so we can get back toSpain for our own meds which have run out and doctor/hospital appointments. The respect form is a condition of accepting him.We kept a low profile passing the office during visiting yesterday as we need to "forge" some of the content that is missing e.g. all medical care possible except the CPR bit. State of mind. POA, etc etc.

Yet another example of what we call trip ups.

Essentially no CPR using chest compressions means DNR.

Certainly for us at work that would be the case as we use a defibrillator and it works by insisting on chest compressions between shocks until a stable rhythm is achieved.

Bournemouth Airport (again!) 

This time coming home there were massive queues at immigration. No egates and no priority lane for British citizens, so I had to queue to get into my own country wiv the furriners!        

On the plus side the Border Farce lady was very pleasant, asked me if I'd had a nice holiday and said Welcome home!    A refreshing change from the arrogant grim faced immigration dudes you often have to face on the continent and beyond!

Did I even mention Spain Steve ? My missus has a friend who asks stupid questions I ignore her as well .. A short nosed breed from England on a car journey to Spain i think not.
