I was in a nearby town earlier and walked past a barbers where there was no one waiting and the barber was finishing with the man in the chair. I hate waiting in barbers so went in, but got told by the barber it was appointments only, so went and did my shopping.

When I walked back to the car 20 minutes later the barber was sat on the step of his shop playing with his dog. He's obviously not a hungry barber! 

More of a roll eyes moment than being pissed off to be honest though...

Nope English. There are 3 or 4 'Turkish type barbers' on the High St but I refuse to go in those.

I used to go out of my way to support my local English barber. But the lazy bastard couldn't get out of bed at the weekend, due to his liking of a Friday night drinking session. So I now use the Turkish ones. Very polite, decent haircut for a reasonable price. They can launder all the money they want, makes no difference to me

Not been to a barber for decades.

Back in the day a couple of girlfriends were hairdressers so I had it cut for free.

These days Mrs Opti cuts my hair. She is not qualified but does a good enough job with the kitchen scissors.

Also, if I were to get it cut professionally I would want a fragrant young girl to stick her tits in my ear whilst going about her work.

Male hairdressers tend to be a bit camp for my liking.

No....but I'm always polite when she is holding something sharp and pointy.

My hair is now in Friar Tuck territory, so I buzz around with the electric clipper thing once a month.
Swmbo says I look like a thug when I do it. My reply is, "what should I go for then ? The Rod Stewart look, or maybe Marc Bolan ?"

Luckily my granddaughter is a hair dresser so no hunting around for a decent barber.
On the pissed off side. The arsehole in the bloody great double glazing van who drove ten yards past a passing place on a single track road so me and the guy in another van behind me had to reverse back about 150 yards to resolve the standoff. We both let him know what we thought of him.

An email informing me that the new dishwasher delivered yesterday cannot be installed till Monday when it should have been today, fortunately I pulled the old one out last night, could see that the electrics need a bit of tidying up so that's the job for today.
