Once you put another layer of useless government in the way, and pretend to give them some responsibility, then they just end up wanting more and more. It's even worse when that layer are run by an independence party, like Queen Nicola and the SNP. Once that happens they start abusing their original role as some sort of "Super Local Council" and end up claiming to be a "National Government".

Both myself and my parents owned a house there. Great part of the UK.
