Initially, I agreed when I first heard about it. But I think it was republicans who lowered the relief package - democrats wanted more. Hence Pelosi's unusual support for Trump.

It should have gone out six months ago, but the Democrats keep adding in a whole load of unrelated stuff into it. Not to mention the evil demented ice cream woman and her petty stalling. People say Trump is petulant, but Pelosi is in whole different league.

This is interesting.....

Ted Cruz has urged Trump to submit both the Paris Climate deal and the Iran deal to the Senate to be ratified as treaties, which as I understand it requires a two thirds majority.  Biden has pledged to take the US back into both agreements, but if the Senate has rejected the deals then Biden has nowhere to go and apparently cannot even use an Executive Order.  :-\

Tweaks can be made so that they are not the same deals? Or, the Senate pass both with a two thirds majority because they don't have to jump through hoops to please the orange manchild any more?  A desperate waste of precious time.

Ted Cruz is smarter than that ;)

They're keeping the Democrats busy, ready for Jan 6th and getting as much pushed through now just in case Georgia elects the wife beater and the Spotted yoof, they're just making sure that Biden can't actually do anything... Just in case ;D

Can you tweak an international treaty just to get it through your legislature? 

I don't know, but I doubt it, as that would surely require the agreement of all the other signatories, effectively rewriting the treaty.  :-\
