I see we are now having to re-name cats eyes as road studs as tourists etc seem to believe we're either bumping cats off by the thousands and planting their eyes in the road or burying the whole cat with just its eyes showing :o So the name change in order not to give offence to anyone.

I very much doubt that anyone has really thought that, or been "offended" by their name. Probably some uber pc "diversity" pen pusher in an office somewhere thought it up to keep him/her self in a job.

I actually saw a "No Road Studs" sign the other day and thought "When did we stop saying cat's eyes?"

They had to rename it as instead of taking a 'marathon' time to eat them, their so small now a couple of bites and their gone!
