Not many more influential than him on the music scene.
Clapton, Peter Green, Mick Fleetowwd, John McVie, Mick taylor etc. etc. all started out in his band.
Unlikely Cream or Fleetwood Mac would have existed without him.
I still have a listen to The Beano album from time to time. To think Clapton was only just into his twenties when he played on that is amazing.
