Still cannot decide if it is like my original!!

Seriously though as far as I can tell from the photos the pic of it atop the oven looks to be about as close as you're likely to get without knowing the exact colour of the original to get a dye the same.I'd be happy with that but only you know what you'll be satisfied with.

Have you tried asking Vx, Lizzie? If you give head office the car's name, rank and number, they MUST know what colour they sold it with, surely?

Yes you are right BazaJT I have to be satisfied with that.  I could keep on, but I don't think I could improve on it as far as my eyes tell me.  Thanks for the input, it has been a big help and stopped me ordering even more dye!!

The trouble is Ron that, as has been said, the sun would have had an effect on the fabric of the shelf anyway, so I think if I can get it just about there, with the dye's available, that will have to do

He's right.  I live in a barn and have straw coming out of my ears! 

Biggriff however lives in a derelict old white Omega estate on bricks.  Now that's classy!

Lizzie, my Omega is of 2001 vintage and will be similarly faded, so would it help if I photographed my shelf and got the RGB colour co-ordinates from Photoshop for you to match? Or CMYK, if you prefer.

Might be my eyes but the original looks more of a cream colour to me. What colour is the dash and steering wheel, Grey, Anthracite or Brown? (Although all combinations are valid).

If the providing dealer remembered it will have the interior colour trim style written in the service book.
