Hi all,
I'm replacing my damaged rear bumper with a good donor one & I thought it would be quick & easy!
As usual, not so straightforward - I'm struggling to get the torx screws out in the wheel arches. I've been trying for a couple of hours now - have done the usual wd40 thing, then used an impact driver but still no joy.
Anybody have any other ideas I don't have the brains for?

If there knackered, then try a hacksaw blade cut in the torx head, then use a flat blade screw driver.

If there old and rusted in, heads may well snap anyway, so worse case drill them out, then re tap or nut and bolt where do able.

Thanks for that!
I have now taken the heads off two of the screws with a mini hacksaw.
Looking forward to the 2 under the car!
I will nip out am tomorrow & get some new drill bits & continue.
I must be getting too old for all this nonsense  :-[

That was quick.  ;D

These are bad for £2 inc postage, they snap easily, as do most that size, but are handy for drilling out or pilots on shity jobs etc. -

Much appreciated - I've just ordered them.
Will have to wait to carry on with the task but it's snowing & wet anyway & I'm not getting out there in that!
