Not too sure that an American will be a wise addition to Top Gear which is a fundemently a British production. However I am prepared to see how he fits in  :-\

He is a big name in the U.S. and TG made a lot of money in the past by being shown there, so that may be why they signed him up.
I cant see myself being a fan though as I cannot abide the Ginger egomaniac at the helm.
