X30xe few errors
« on: 01 October 2015, 14:58:42 »

As you know i transplanted x30xe to calibra..i menaged to bypass the immobiliser..however when i start engine(cold) i got EML staying on after 15 seconds of car working...i get following codes in this particular order when doing paper clip test
12 - initiation of diagnosis
135 - tail light, this is not connected in calibra so its normal to be registered
46 - secondary air injection pump, also not connected in calibra..i welded holes on exhaust manifolds
-----------------''''----
17 -knock sensor circuit 2
129 - egr voltage low
63- inlet manifold valve 1 voltage high
73 - maf sensor voltage low
Car is running like shit, stuttering in neutral and when driving, giving a puff of black smoke when hitting throttle...other than that there is no blue or white smoke at least....

Even though you have welded up egr nonsense, have you left it plugged in?

I didnt weld it.. I left it as original, connected to exhaust..however i didnt connect VSS signal to ecu..can it affect engine idling and performance? Cause i have symptoms of bad maf and bad coilpack, and i have read that ecu can cause this because off not getting the VSS signal..maf and coilpack are tested and working good..

If we speak about signal VSS its from speedo to ecu..however i connected it and no joy...blocked egr,no joy either...ill try new leads and sparks...engine is idling on 5 cylinders sometimes going on 4...coilpack tested, condition good...

You have an air leak.....the MAF code is the key.

Hence running like a dog.

Its worth checking the wiring to the bank 2 knock sensor to ensure its ok.

The secondary air injection codes and front multiram code can be tricked with a 1k ohm resistor
