Sky for £25 a month?
« on: 25 June 2015, 09:22:31 »

Got an offer internally at the moment, I can get people:

Entertainment Extra+
Sky Sports
Sky Movies
HD Pack
Sky+HD box
Sky Go
OnDemand

All for £25 a month, fixed for 12 months. (Normally £75/m)

As always, new customers only sadly. Or new surname at the address, that has not been registered there for last 12 months.

If interested, drop me a PM  :y

Sadly no, as always we do complain on the internal offers about current customers, but never get much than the odd £10/m off.

Best advise I can give, is ring up and be prepared to cancel to fight for a discount.

Do you mean people with SL postcodes but who live in Reading? Don't think our system copes with that  ;D

[Tunnie mode on] £25 ? :o ....as a special offer? ;D

Sky really are shit on price. ;D ....that's barely a quarter of a tank of fuel in your 3.2 Tunnie. :D
[Tunnie mode off ]

....but as he says, for existing customers, the only way to get a "decent" discount out of sky is to leave.

I pay £72 a month for entertainment plus, sports pack, sky+ HD,unlimited broadband and free weekend calls.

I think that's good value. They've got to make a profit you know. ::)

Sky can be brutal when it comes to culling employees, seen entrie departments gone. One team, I worked with, who sat behind us. Wiped out in one day, due to a restructure.  :o

So CV is always kept up to date  :)

Sky now are like BT was years ago. No one could possibly do telephone lines except us, could they?

The amount of people I know that are getting sky for free is increasing daily....it will start taking a chunk out of profits soon.........

Hence NowTV a fully Internet based TV delivery service, no dish, no contract. Next things like Quad pay, soon get Sky Branded mobiles.

Core customer numbers for TV continue to rise, profits up, just look at our latest Q results.

Course only takes Google to say we want the footie rights, we would be in trouble then. I just need to keep myself prepared, so working on all the new stuff like Chromecast and AndroidTV :)

I'll vouch for that (Sky being brutal).  It'll be interesting to see how they cope with the competition.  Personally I won't buy from Sky whatever the price, and please don't get me wrong, I've met some good people at Sky.

I count myself very fortunate  :y

I think Sky will have to sack me to get rid of me now, been almost 6 years now.
