Hello to you all.
« on: 31 August 2014, 13:08:44 »

Hello folks. Thought I'd drop in and say hi. Just acquired myself a CD spec 2.0 petrol saloon, on a 1997(R) plate. I am happy with it but it needs some tlc which I shall give it over time. I am sure I shall be asking a few questions in time as I set to task with it.. I shall go browse about now and see how this all works.

Hi there, Welcome to the OOF.  :y

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.

Thanks for the welcome folks.  :) I have done a few bits on this now. Whilst I was, It bought me to the question of when I last had a RWD motor.. It'll be a Sierra i had almost12 years ago.  :-[
Quick question.
Why the verification every time I post? This is quite tedious when on my phone.  :-\

I think verification is only temporary when you first  join  Oof . After a few posts it will not happen again :y

ok, thanks for that. :)
Have been a bit busy with this but have some stuff to sort, found the dipstick is missing the top of the stick, so I have to find one. Any 2.0 xe one work? I have added flat blade wipers and tried to polish up headlights for now, rather  mucky..
