Thank you kevin wood I shall check in daylight.
I cant hear any hissing that Id experienced with some other cars sucking air.
Air filter is the normal one for the Omega but from a local shop. Cud that make a difference?

What would be costs? As the test with the wire shorting out the plug in the fusebox doesnt show anything will there be any faults?

Do you work saturday or sundays. if not I will see if I can get some time off but I have to give 2 weeks notice

I'd take Marks DTM up on his offer, I've met him in person (several times!) and can vouch for his honesty/integrity
