So around 5L should come out of the radiator plug, Trying to find a container big enough that will slide underneath..

Not sure where to put the waste to be honest, The septic tank has an overflow I believe to the field next to the house underground and there are currently cattle and horses in there.

Two things wrong with that pic...

1. That is what you unscrew, but it's a cheapy pattern radiator, so all bets are off.
2. You're one winter away from needing a new aircon condensor.

Washing up bowl under that cap and unscrew it. You can flush coolant down the toilet, but not down a street drain :y

You learn something every day on here  ;D I didnt realize you could use the bog  ::)

You said down the Bog  ???, There should be a better system in place for chemicals like these.. Then again the excuse they could use is it should be done at a garage.

Just out of curiosity does anyone know how much a VX dealer would charge to change the coolant.

Our local tip has hazardous waste amnesty days or you can ring the local council and ask them. (Probably tell you to tip it down the bog ;D)
Stick it in a container, mark it up and leave it outside the local kwik fit ;D :y
PS A good source of free 5/10 ltr plastic containers for oil change etc is from your local pub/chip shop/cafe. :y

Flushed down the toilet is fine :y (though if you have a sceptic tank check with whoever empties it as they might pour it into the nearest stream :-\). If it has an open overflow probably not such a bright idea :-\

Yeah on the main sewerage lines in cities etc. i'm sure thats fine, Na no i meant de-ice the sewerage pipes i.e. where the S##T travels to its destination, They freeze up here when its really cold, I wouldn't use it on a drive got pets and where did i mention the word drive  ??? ::) ;D.

Think i'm over thinking this situation.  :-\

That's my worry.. The company who empties it is a fairly big firm, No idea where they empty it though..
