LPG Matrix
« on: 11 June 2013, 09:28:22 »

Had my 2.2 converted to LPG years ago has worked brilliantly but I have mentioned this before about a year ago it has a little problem when switching to gas when been off for a little while.
I am convinced the matrix is mucky and just needs cleaning out as once running it works perfectly all day so has anyone out there got an  E-Gas matrix injector system or similar and have they tried cleaning them
cheers

Didn't see that discussion, but wonder if the switch over temp is too low? Although I'm sure someone would have mentioned that, as a starter for 10, so to speak.

There is a guide re flushing matrix.  :y

Although, I'd be surprised if that fixes the problem, tbh.  :-\

Hang on, are you referring to the vaporiser/reducer as the matrix?

Yes it does, but I don't think anyone here uses that terminology. Most people run the stag system here and the vaporisers just unbolt, then bolt back together. Running Kme Gold vaporiser on mine.

Sometimes the injectors get a bit sticky until the ambient heat of the engine bay warms the injector block and they warm up, freeing off the injectors. Its an easier job to blast them with carb cleaner first, as said....but can't help with your request. Sorry.
