From memory no, as it's huge.

Also, the boot is PILED with tools, and the keys, if in there, will be at the very rear.... not a chance in hell....

Ah, in that case, removing the bumper then drilling off the side air vent rivets won't help?

The solution must have involved getting 12v to the pesky boot release, I would have thought!

The open boot switch may work but there may be  looong delay so you must press the switch 10 to 20 sec or more

I was going to say that the coathanger/slim jim method will work as it isn't deadlocked but you're already there

Nice one Entwood, most of the Taxi drivers round here, have a piece of string rigged to the release handle, then secured by Gaffer tape, yours looks a damn site neater.
