Coat Hanger or steel rule ground out to give a hook works, particularly as you have not dead locked the car, had to do it a few times, over 12 years of Omega ownership...... ::) ::) ::)

Incl facelift Mike? :y

Is there no way at all of reaching over/round your LPG tank?  :-\ ........................... assuming you get into the car  :-\

From memory no, as it's huge.

Also, the boot is PILED with tools, and the keys, if in there, will be at the very rear.... not a chance in hell....
Ah, in that case, removing the bumper then drilling off the side air vent rivets won't help? :-\
I remember the thread mentioned. The answer was pm'd to the op in a similar position to your self.

ahhh I like your thinking mr Gixer!

The solution must have involved getting 12v to the pesky boot release, I would have thought!

The open boot switch may work but there may be  looong delay so you must press the switch 10 to 20 sec or more ???

I'm in! Car and boot.

I won't say publically how I did it for obvious reasons, but it was worryingly easy.

Will PM the answer to any members I know personally obviously.

Just a shame my keys weren't in the boot!!

I was going to say that the coathanger/slim jim method will work as it isn't deadlocked but you're already there :y

I'm game for a laugh and interested though ::)

Can't think of anywhere where the CDL wiring is available outside, unlike older cars, so assume std break-in methods  :-X

Nice one Entwood, most of the Taxi drivers round here, have a piece of string rigged to the release handle, then secured by Gaffer tape, yours looks a damn site neater.
