Climate Control switching itself off?
« on: 26 April 2012, 18:50:33 »

Hope someone can help.  I've tried searching and can't find anyone reporting this problem.

Driving to work this morning with heated driver's seat on.  Noticed my feet were getting cold, looked at climate control panel and noticed it was showing off.  I had it on auto with eco on when I set of, pressed auto button and it came on again.

This evening coming home it did it again, same thing heated driver's seat on and climate control showing off when it had been on.  Switched off heated seat and pressed auto and it came on again and stayed on for the rest of the journey.

Just been out again and it appears to stay on as long as heated seat is not used.

I've checked fuses are OK and seated properly, Anyone any ideas what else to check?

It's a bit warmer today so didn't use heated seat this morning and climate control stayed on auto for the whole journey into work.  Seems to be heated seat causing the problem.  Will have a good look at seat connectors over the weekend see if anything looks suspect.

Right, been out today and checked seat wiring could find nothing wrong.  Re-checked fuses all OK and seated properly.  Went out for a run with the missus both heated seats on and what do yo know bloody CC worked perfectly the whole journey.  There's a gremlin in there somewhere mucking me about cause it definitely turned itself off twice the other day!
