Check behind driver`s kickpanel just below alarm ECU see if you have the connector for the Bose loom

Light blue connector goes to amp, dark blue/black connects behing driver`s kickpanel, as said, check if you have the connector there, will be under alarm ECU. If no connector there, pig of a job to get a loom up to the rear of the HU

Dark blue/black on your loom connects under the plug where the white arrow is. If this connector is fitted it`ll be bolted (2 x plastic 10mm nuts) to the alarm ECU (yellow arrows)

Speakers connect to existing plugs, loom runs from boot amp, behind driver`s side rear seat, under the plastic cill covers to behind the kickpanel

It's good fun fitting Bose to a car without the plug, I enjoyed fitting it on Janes car.  ;D

A couple of points to help you with this:

1) If the connector is there there might be a loopback plug fitted with wires in place looping back for the existing speakers. That will need to be removed for the new one.

2) You may be lucky and have the cutouts for the bass speakers under the rear shelf for easy removal - if not its more difficult. Some do, some don't.

3) You may need to add a new fuse for the Bose amp in the fuse box under the steering wheel.

Seriously, that is all I had to do when I did my Bose installation back in 1999 on my 1998 car. Was I the first?

Good luck - Rob
