heating/air con controls
« on: 18 March 2012, 10:47:29 »

Hi, just joined the forum and want to say hello. I've just bought my 4th Omega (1999 3ltr MV6 manual) and have a problem with the climate control. The passenger side works fine and  does whatever the control temp is set at, but the driver side continues to pump out hot air whatever temp it's set at. Can someone give me a clueto rectifying this please?

hi
welcome to the forum  :y
first thing to try is a climate reset which is key in ignition position 2 then auto and off buttons pressed together you should hear the servo motors working that should reset your climate, if this doesnt work then its time to look at your circulation flaps sometimes the arm can pop out of the motor leaving the flap in one position there is a guide for this in the maintenance section  :y
