bonnet release lever
« on: 09 March 2012, 18:06:45 »

,Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone has a picture of the bonnet release handle assembly fitted to the car. I think a piece of mine must be broken or missing because i just can'get the thing re-fitted to the car. The pictures show what i have and were i think it goes.
Thanks
Martin

Long time since I did mine, but I do remember it was a pain.  >:(

There may well be nothing missing or broken on yours.

My cable has snapped right next to the lever.

I have a Carlton (Omega A ::)  ) cable spare and it looks to be the same, so I'll try fitting that.
Anyone want to place bets on a successful outcome?    ;D

well looking at the picture its not broken, try some white grease on the plastic runner locator. put in place (the hole) and push towards the front wile pushing it into the hole. making sure nothing is in the way.
