I recently had some work done to repair the ABS ecu and the battery was disconnected.

Afterwards I entered the radio code without any problem, but when I try to switch to the cd player, the cd and track number flash up, then CD SAFE, then it then cycles between the two displays. I can hear the track playing, but there is a loud beep about every second.

I get no option to enter the code to unlock it. It was working fine before the battery was disconnected.

Tried disconnecting and reconnecting the CD player, but it makes no difference.

No details of head or changer fitted -

So,

Disconnect head and changer, and leave disconnected for around an hour. Important to connect changer first, then head. Enter code for head first, then changer.
