Reduced power after Fuel Filter change......
« on: 19 January 2010, 16:57:04 »

Since changing the fuel filter on my 2.2DTi Facelift model the engine management light comes on intermittently and no acceleration. What might the problem be? I have re-seated the filter seal but still the same. :o

Thanks for all the help people. Was one of the small plastic pipes dunning round the front of the engine to the EGR Valve has come apart at the corner joint.  :y :y

You have to remove the fuel return pipe are the filter to let the air out whilst running

It could be one of the plastic pipes that attach to the filter top. Check they aren't kinked or twisted.
The filter position is far from ideal :(
